I was diagnosed with "inflammatory myositis" in April 2010
This is my attempt to learn more about myositis and make sense of this condition.

------------------------------------ Myositis means inflammation of the muscles. Myositis is a type of muscular dystrophy MD. This disease is sometimes referred to as autoimmune myopathy or inflammatory myopathy or idiopathic inflammatory myositis IIM (idiopathic means the cause is unknown) ------------------------------------
